About

The Pact Indie Diversity Scheme is a unique opportunity aimed specifically at entry-level diverse talent (both graduates and non-graduates). Our London trainees undertake a six-month placement, Scottish trainees eight-month placement, with an independent production company, allowing them to develop their talents in a thriving business environment. In addition, each participant is partnered with a senior-level mentor from within their company, and receives bespoke training from ScreenSkills and BECTU Vision in areas such as copyright, storytelling, camera operating and much more.

The Scheme is run both in London and in Scotland, and is supported by some of the top independent production companies in the business, whose output includes shows such as Have I Got News For YouHumans, One Born Every MinuteBritain’s Got TalentShop Well for Less and First Dates. Indies that have participated in the scheme include: All3MediaEndemol Shine GroupFremantleMediaHat Trick Productions, Raise The Roof, RDF TelevisionSTV, Warner Brothers (Ricochet and Wall to Wall), Twofour and October Films.
